What better way to start off the New Year’s Eve event updates than with a rumor that Britney Spears may be planning her extravagant comeback performance at the Palms Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. The Mirror reports that just after midnight, Britney will take the stage at the Pearl Theater with a high-energy fireworks and special-effects show to kick off her world tour.
Rumors are that Palms owner George Maloof has been casting a team of burlesque dancers who will accompany Britney on stage.
“Britney has been recording her sixth album at Palms and she is good friends with George from way back. They are cooking up the idea of making a big bold statement by making her comeback on New Year’s Eve. It’s going to be the hottest ticket on the planet.”
