New Year’s Eve Concert Guide

Rather than re-invent the wheel, we figured we’d just give you some links to a few other sites where you can find out more information about New Years Eve concerts that are going on.  As with everything else, we strongly recommend that you buy tickets early as many of these events will sell out!

Tourfilter
While not specifically providing a New Year’s Eve concert listing page, Tourfilter is a great site that scours the web and aggregates concerts listings for all the major cities. The great thing about them is they also crawl through smaller club’s web sites to make sure you don’t miss anything.  You can visit their site, select your city, and then check out who is playing on December 31 in order to make your New Year’s Eve plans.

Hidden Track: New Year’s Eve 2008 – 2009 Concert Guide
Hidden Track by Glide Magazine has put together a pretty good list of New Year’s Eve concerts broken out by state.  The list includes Hall & Oates in Connecticut, The Doobie Brothers in Florida, Wu-Tang Clan in Maryland, The Goo Goo Dols in New Jersey, and many more. Head on over to their site to check out the complete list.

Ticketmaster
The company everyone loves to hate because of their exhorbitant service charges is still the grand-daddy of ticketing companies because of the many exclusive ticket agreements they have.  Finding New Year’s Eve concerts and events on their site is relatively easy:

  1. On the left side of the site, go to the See Events By: section.
  2. Select a “Category” at the top.
  3. In the third drop-down, change from “Next 31 Days” to “select date range.”
  4. Enter from 12/31 to 12/31, enter your “City or Zip Code” and click Go.

Pretty simple, and we’re sure you’ll find something fun to do.  Enjoy!
